This roller coaster adventure began in 1991 in my little corner of the world, Massachusetts, when my heart was opened to know the Truth! And before I knew it, I had moved from my hometown to attend Bible school in Florida and then further my studies in bright, southern Cali. From the west coast, I traveled to live and work in the exotic lands of Thailand and India. This journey led to infinite opportunities to explore humanity and to immerse myself into new cultures. I went from the ease of my western world amenities to washing my hair in a stream (at the same time, that the chicken was being cleaned for dinner), sleeping on a mat, and taking more bucket baths than I can count.

After 10 years of “getting my feet dirty”, at the age of 38, I felt inspired to drive my car cross country (for the fourth time, if I were keeping tract, and I am) to make the trek to Georgia. Within a month I got my dream job, bought my first house, and took up the sport of cycling, where I met a fellow cyclist who could make me laugh until I cried. Today that Lord loving, cyclist is my husband (we not only met on a bike, but married on a bike and honeymooned 600 miles on a bike as well). I am a super step-mom to four fantastic young men, and we have one delicious, chocolate lab, who loves to greet us with a smile.
